Filling ‘the Gap’
‘WTF’, ‘beyond horrible’, ‘fiasco’ — some of the words used to describe the controversial Gap rebrand. However the words “I could do better” resonated louder than any other yesterday.
In a post on ISO50, Alex Cornell urged the design community to cease ranting and raving and see if we could do any better. A competition was born.
To break the tedium of coding for an hour and with the thought of getting my hands on some ISO50 stuffs, I set about work.
These ideas took roughly an hour from conception to implementation and were carried out without any insight to GAP’s brand. They should be seen as a fun exercise rather than a serious contender for GAP’s now apparent crowdsourcing project.
